The pooled results of RCTs did not show a clear reduction in respiratory viral infection with the use of medical/surgical masks. There were no clear differences between the use of medical/surgical masks compared with N95/P2 respirators in healthcare workers when used in routine care to reduce respiratory viral infection.

Jan. 20, 2023 – The Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan has overturned a decision that would have allowed a divorced father to have his teenage daughter vaccinated for COVID-19 against her will. The court said its decision was to save the child’s mental health.
Jan. 19, 2023 – Approximately 1,200 students from the London, Ontario area have been suspended from school because their vaccinations for preventable diseases are not up to date.

Jan. 18, 2023 – Study – The patients were advised to apply a standard nicotine patch with the lowest available dosage (7.5 mg/24 h) and to administer the patch once daily (in the morning). Jan. 18, 2023 – Parent questions Waterloo, Ontario, Canada school board about books accessible by fourth graders. David Todor raised concerns that his daughter could access a book by Toni Morrison called, “The Bluest Eye,” that discusses sodomy, bestiality, and homosexuality. He also expressed his concerns for requesting to know what his daughter’s gender identity is.

Jan. 17, 2023 – Parent David Todor asked Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) trustees more than once Monday evening who exactly is interested in the “sexual orientation and gender identity” of his nine-year-old daughter. In a scathing speech to the new board, he spent his allotted time of 10 minutes attacking the board’s ongoing “censorship” of meeting proceedings and surveys asking kids as young as Grade 4 to provide their sexual orientation and preferred gender. He also raised concerns with another controversial book located in WRDSB elementary school libraries called “The Bluest Eye” written by Toni Morrison: “He could have been an active homosexual but lacked the courage. Bestiality did not occur to him and sodomy was out of the question for he did not endure sustained erections …”
